# Languages

The 13 languages Relay2Trade speaks, how one language setting on your account carries the Desk, the app's window, emails and notifications, how to change it in the Desk, in the app and in the installer, what stays in English, and how signals are read in any language whatever your setting.

## The languages

| Language | Its own name | In the website's address |
|---|---|---|
| English | English | relay2trade.com/features |
| Romanian | Română | relay2trade.com/ro/features |
| Portuguese (Brazil) | Português (Brasil) | relay2trade.com/pt-br/features |
| Spanish | Español | relay2trade.com/es/features |
| Vietnamese | Tiếng Việt | relay2trade.com/vi/features |
| Russian | Русский | relay2trade.com/ru/features |
| French | Français | relay2trade.com/fr/features |
| Turkish | Türkçe | relay2trade.com/tr/features |
| Indonesian | Bahasa Indonesia | relay2trade.com/id/features |
| Arabic | العربية | relay2trade.com/ar/features |
| Thai | ไทย | relay2trade.com/th/features |
| Hindi | हिन्दी | relay2trade.com/hi/features |
| Polish | Polski | relay2trade.com/pl/features |

Every language picker lists them by their own names, in this order. Arabic reads right to left: the website, the Desk and the app's window are mirrored for it. Dates, numbers and prices are written the way each language writes them: Polish, for example, puts a comma before the cents, and French writes the euro sign after the amount.

## One language for your account

Your account has one language, and everything that belongs to the account follows it:

- the Desk, including its help, guides and tours, and the Desk installed on your phone's home screen;
- the app's window on every computer signed in to your account, its notices, its skip reasons and its explanations;
- the emails we send you, the inbox messages and the notifications on your devices;
- the descriptions of every setting, in the Desk and in the app.

Change it in one place and the others follow within seconds. A new account starts in the language of the page you signed up on.

Notices and messages already written keep the language they were written in; what comes after a change arrives in the new one.

## Change the language in the Desk

1. Open the Desk at https://relay2trade.com/control.
2. Go to Settings → "Account settings".
3. Under "Language", pick yours from the list.

The page reads itself again in the new language at once. The app takes it within seconds, and the next emails and notifications come in it. "Account settings" is also found by typing "language" in the Desk's settings search.

## Change the language in the app

1. In the app's window, open Settings → "Application".
2. "Language" is the first row: "Language of the whole app — dashboard, logs and status messages."
3. Pick yours. The window switches at once, with no restart.

The choice goes to your account, so the Desk, emails and notifications follow it too. An app with no window (on Linux, or on a VPS without a desktop) takes its language from your account: change it in the Desk.

**Before signing in.** The app's Application page can be opened while signed out. A language picked there is kept when you sign in, and becomes your account's language.

## The installer

The Windows installer opens on a language box, set to the language Windows itself is in (English when Windows is in a language Relay2Trade does not have). The setup then speaks that language, shows the Terms in it, and the app opens in it.

- **Picked a language other than Windows' own:** that choice is kept when you sign in, and becomes your account's language.
- **Left the box as it was:** at sign-in the app takes your account's language. So a rented VPS with Windows in English keeps a Romanian account in Romanian.

## The website

The website is where you read about Relay2Trade. Its product pages, the FAQ, the guides, the download page, the status page, promotions, reviews and the legal pages have an address in each language: English has none in front ("/features"), every other language has its code ("/pl/features").

To change it, use the language switch at the top of any page: it shows the current language's code (for example "EN") and opens the list of languages by their own names. On a phone it is a picker in the menu. The website remembers your choice in that browser. On a first visit it follows your browser's language, and English when your browser asks for a language it does not have.

Signed in, a language picked on the website becomes your account's language too, so the Desk and the app follow it. The Desk's sign-in page follows the language chosen on the website in that browser, else the browser's own.

## Help articles, legal pages and missing texts

- **These help articles** are written in English. An assistant reading them can answer you in your own language.
- **The legal pages** (Terms, Privacy, Cookies, Legal notice) are in every language. The translations are there for easier reading: "If the versions differ, the Romanian version prevails." Each translated page links to "Read the Romanian original" and "Read the English version".
- **A text not yet translated** in your language shows in English, so nothing is ever left blank.

## Signals are read in any language

Your language setting changes only what you read. It has nothing to do with the groups you follow: a Romanian account can follow an English group, and an English account a Vietnamese one.

- Every message that looks like a trade is read by an AI, in any language. What matters is that it is an explicit call to enter a trade: an instrument plus buy or sell, or an instrument with a stop-loss and a take-profit.
- Before a message is sent to be read, the app checks it on your computer: it goes on when it has a digit and a trading word in one of about 25 languages ("buy", "sell", "tp", "sl", "compra", "venda", "mua", "покупка"…), a direction written onto the instrument ("XAUUSDBUY"), or an instrument with two prices.
- Follow-up instructions without a number ("cancel", "close it", "SL to BE") are understood in about 25 languages, with or without diacritics: "inchide", "muta SL la intrare", "fechar", "cerramos", "đóng lệnh", "закрываем", "平仓" and more.
- For a group that calls trades without any number ("GOLD BUY NOW"), switch on "Read calls without a number" on that listener. See https://relay2trade.com/help/how-a-signal-is-read.md.

## Phones

The Desk installed on your phone's home screen from the browser speaks your account's language, like the Desk in any browser. Proper Android and iOS apps with the Desk inside are coming soon. See https://relay2trade.com/help/the-desk-and-phone-app.md.

## If something goes wrong

- **The app is in a different language from the Desk.** The app takes the account's language when it next checks your licence, within seconds while it runs. Restart it if it still shows the old one; a language picked in the app itself before signing in is kept and given to the account instead.
- **The app switched to another language after I signed in.** You left the installer's language box as Windows offered it, so the app took your account's language. Pick the one you want under Settings → "Application" → "Language", or in the Desk.
- **The website keeps opening in the wrong language.** It remembers the last choice in that browser. Pick yours from the language switch at the top of the page.
- **An email came in another language.** Emails follow your account's language at the moment they are sent. Change it in the Desk under Settings → "Account settings" → "Language".
- **One sentence is in English.** That text is not translated in your language yet. Everything else stays in yours.
- **A group writes in a language not listed here.** Signals are read in any language; the list above is only the language you read Relay2Trade in.
