Every tier is yours the moment your season XP crosses it. Season XP is what you earn while the season runs — connected days, signals, trades, quests and invites — and starts from zero every season. XP from milestones, badges and rewards doesn't count. Tiers are handed over while the account has a subscription or an access pass running, once it has had a paid subscription. Tiers not handed over by the end of the season are lost.
