Plans, licence and billing
The plans and their prices, what each one includes, the free demo day, what happens at a plan limit, the VPS on your plan, and how paying, renewals, failed payments, cancelling, refunds and discounts work.
The licence
The Relay2Trade app is free to download. A licence is what lets it trade: it comes with a plan, and the app checks it by itself with your account, with nothing to configure. You manage your plan in the Desk under Account → Plan & billing. Prices are in EUR with VAT included, and every plan renews automatically until you cancel.
The plans and prices
| Plan | Price | Renews |
|---|---|---|
| 7 days | 9.99 € | every 7 days |
| Basic | 19.99 € | every month |
| Advanced | 34.99 € | every month |
| Pro | 49.99 € | every month |
| Basic · yearly | 199.90 € | every year |
| Advanced · yearly | 349.90 € | every year |
| Pro · yearly | 499.90 € | every year |
- The yearly plans cost ten months for twelve ("2 months free"), paid once a year.
- A yearly plan has exactly the limits of the monthly plan of the same name.
- The 7-day plan has limits of its own and no yearly version.
- Your licence starts right after payment.
What each plan includes
Every plan has the full app: risk-based sizing ("Risk % of equity" and "Fixed cash"), multiple take-profits, every trailing stop mode, runners, limit entries, settings of its own on each listener, dry runs, the Desk and remote sync. The plans differ in how much runs at the same time.
| 7 days | Basic | Advanced | Pro | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profiles trading at once | 1 | 1 | 2 | 3 |
| Listeners running at once, all profiles together | 1 | 2 | 4 | 6 |
| Open positions at once, per profile | 10 | 10 | 50 | 100 |
| Signals per day | 10 | 15 | 35 | 50 |
| Dry runs per month | 10 | 15 | 25 | 35 |
| Messages per dry run | 25 | 25 | 50 | 100 |
| Streak shields earned | 3 | 3 | 5 | 10 |
What the limits mean:
- Profiles trading at once. A profile is one connected MetaTrader 5 account with its own settings. You can create as many profiles as you like; the plan counts the ones trading at the same time.
- Listeners running at once. A listener is a Telegram group or channel the app reads signals from. The count is shared across your profiles, and a switched-off listener does not count.
- Open positions at once. The highest "Max open positions" you can set on one profile.
- Signals per day. How many signals the app acts on in a day. Signals after the limit are still shown, just not traded. A message counts once, when it is read as at least one real signal; chat, follow-ups, failed readings, dry runs and messages that were too old never count. Signals read on a "Watch — record only" listener count like traded ones.
- Dry runs per month and messages per dry run. A dry run replays a group's latest messages through your settings without trading. Dry runs have their own monthly allowance, separate from the daily signals.
Signals are counted per UTC day and dry runs per UTC month. The prices and limits shown on the plan cards in the Desk and on https://relay2trade.com are always the current ones.
How your limits are worked out
Each limit is your plan's number, plus your level extras, plus any extra cards running. The Desk shows the sum under Account → Plan & billing → "What your plan allows": point at a part, or tap it, to see where it comes from and how to raise it.
- Level extras, for good, on any plan: level 10 adds one listener, level 20 one profile, level 30 ten signals a day, level 40 one profile and one listener.
- Ten friends who subscribe through your invite add one profile for good.
- Extra cards from the shop, the season track or promotions add more for a number of days. See Levels, seasons and the shop.
The free demo day
Create an account and confirm your email: a demo day lands in your Inventory. It is a full day of the Basic plan, with no bank card and no subscription.
- It starts when your app is first signed in, so nothing of it is lost while you set things up. You can also start it yourself from the Inventory.
- It includes a VPS set up for you, so the app can be running a minute later, straight from the Desk ("Included in your demo day: nothing to buy").
- After the demo day the VPS is a paid extra on top of the plan you choose, and picking a plan asks whether you want it. A VPS made during the demo day is put away and kept: choose a plan with the VPS and it comes back as it was.
- Try it on a demo account at your broker first. After the demo day, the 7-day plan is the cheapest way to keep testing.
While the launch offer lasts, the first subscriptions also get one extra day on top of their first period.
When you reach a plan limit
The app and the Desk say so in plain words, and nothing is deleted.
- Signals per day. The status bar shows the signals used out of your limit, followed by "signals today", and turns red at the limit. A new signal is shown but not traded: "Signal not processed: today's limit of … signals is reached.", with your number in place of the dots. The count starts again at 00:00 UTC.
- Dry runs per month. "Dry run not started: this month's limit of … dry runs is reached." A dry run reads as many messages as your plan allows: "This dry run read the … messages your plan allows; the rest were left."
- Profiles trading at once. Starting one more says "Your plan allows … profiles trading at once. Stop one to start another." A profile over the limit shows "Stopped by your plan": its MetaTrader and Telegram are off, and nothing is read or placed. "Switch trading" stops one profile and starts another in one step.
- Listeners running at once. "That would be … listeners running at once; your plan allows … across all profiles." A listener added over the limit is created switched off.
- Open positions. "Max open positions" cannot be saved above your plan's number: "Your plan allows at most … positions open at once on a profile."
When your allowance goes down (a card ended, or you moved to a smaller plan), the app stops the newest profiles and listeners above the new numbers and tells you, for example "Listener … switched off: your plan allows … running at once. Switch another off to bring it back." Nothing is deleted, and trades already open stay at your broker with their own stop-loss and take-profit. When the limit rises again, what the plan stopped comes back by itself.
Raising a limit
When you run into a limit, the window "You are at your plan's limit" shows the ways past it:
- "Move up a plan": every plan that would give you more, with the number you would have there. With a subscription the change happens at once, and the days left are charged at the new price.
- "Or add more with Sparks": the shop's extras for that limit, each with "Your limit becomes …". "Buy and start" spends the Sparks and starts the card at once. With too few Sparks, "Get Sparks" opens the packages.
- "Stop a profile that runs", when a profile could not start: "Switch trading" stops one and starts the other, at no cost.
The first time you reach a limit of your plan, you get two discounts for that limit, once ever: 10% off one of its extras in the shop, and 10% off moving up to a plan that holds more. Each is used once, within 30 days, and the prices in the window already include them.
The VPS on your plan
Where you choose where the app runs, the Desk offers "VPS: Quick install": a VPS created for you with the app already on it, paid through your Relay2Trade plan. Nothing to install or set up, and it stays on around the clock. On your plan it shows as "VPS".
- Price: 5.00 € a month beside a monthly plan, 1.50 € per 7 days beside the 7-day plan and 60.00 € a year beside a yearly plan, VAT included. It renews with your plan, in the same payment.
- With a new plan: pressing a plan's button asks "Where should the app run?". Choose "VPS: Quick install" for the plan and the VPS together, or "Your own device/VPS" for the plan alone. With your app signed in nowhere yet, the VPS is created as soon as you pay; with the app already running on a computer, the Desk waits for you to press "Create it now", because the VPS takes the app over from that computer.
- Adding it to a running plan: Account → Plan & billing → "VPS" → "Add it to my plan". The Desk first names the amount for the days left until your renewal and the price with each renewal after that, and charges your card only when you confirm.
- On free time: "Your plan is on free time now, and the VPS is added to paid time. Renew now and add it, or add it when the free time ends."
- Removing it: "Remove it". It keeps running until the end of the paid days, then the install is put away, and what it holds is kept for 12 months in case you come back.
- A plan that is not a paid subscription cannot take it in the Desk: write to support and it is set up for you.
A VPS the Desk made in your own DigitalOcean account is in your own account, and you pay DigitalOcean for it. Cancelling your plan does not stop it: it keeps running, and DigitalOcean keeps charging, until you destroy it. The same goes for any VPS you rent yourself. For the ways to run the app, see Where the app runs.
Paying and invoices
- In the Desk, open Account → Plan & billing.
- Choose "Monthly" or "Yearly", then "Choose …" on a plan.
- Pay by card on Stripe's secure page, with your billing address.
The payment page shows the price you pay, discounts included. An invoice is issued for every payment and arrives by email, separately from the other emails. Your card, earlier invoices and billing details are under Account → Plan & billing → "Card & invoices", which opens Stripe's secure page and brings you back to the Desk.
Renewals
- Your plan renews by itself: every 7 days, every month or every year. Plan & billing shows "Next payment" with the date, the plan and the amount.
- After each renewal you get the email "Your plan renewed".
- Free days and access passes on your plan move the renewal date later by the same days, and nothing is charged for them.
- While your plan runs on free days with nothing paid ahead, "Renew now" starts a new paid period today; what is left of the free time moves after it.
Changing plan
- Moving up ("Switch now"): applies at once. What is left of the current period counts towards the new plan, and the difference is charged to your card today. Moving from monthly to yearly on the same plan counts as moving up.
- Moving down ("Switch at period end"): your current plan runs to the end of the paid period, and the page shows "Switching to Basic on …". "Keep …" on your current plan takes the change back. Moving from yearly to monthly on the same plan waits for the end of the paid year; moving to a higher plan applies at once, monthly or yearly.
- Moving between monthly and yearly starts a new renewal date from the day of the change.
- New limits apply as soon as the change does, and the app picks them up within seconds.
Free days and access passes
- Free days extend a running subscription: the renewal moves later and nothing is charged. Without a subscription they wait on your account and are added right after the first period of the plan you pick.
- An access pass gives access at its plan (Basic, Advanced or Pro) for its days, with no subscription needed. Passes run one after another.
- Both arrive from levels, the season track, the shop, promotions and our team. Many arrive as cards in your Inventory and start when you choose "Use now". See Levels, seasons and the shop.
Failed payments
When a renewal payment does not go through, access is paused until it does. You get the email "Your payment did not go through", and Plan & billing shows when the payment is tried again ("We try the payment again on …").
- While it waits, the app trades no new signals. Trades already open stay at your broker with their stop-loss and take-profit.
- To fix it, use "Pay now" or "Change my card" in the email, or Account → Plan & billing → "Card & invoices".
- When the payment goes through, your paid period starts that day, so no paid day is lost.
- If the payment keeps failing, the plan ends. You can subscribe again at any time, with another card too.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, in either of two places:
- Desk → Account → Plan & billing → "Cancel subscription".
- Stripe's secure page, under "Card & invoices".
Nothing more is charged. Your access, free days and access passes run to the end of what you have, and "Resume subscription" takes the cancel back until then. We email you 3 days before your access ends. With a VPS on your plan, the Desk asks "And your VPS until then?": "Cancel, and keep the VPS running until …" or "Cancel, and stop the VPS now".
Refunds
Refunds are handled by our support team, case by case: write from Support in the Desk. Cancelling stops future payments and does not refund the current period. Under the Terms (https://relay2trade.com/terms), a consumer may withdraw within 14 days of the first purchase, with a refund proportional to the unused part of the period; renewals do not open a new 14-day window. Sparks and what they buy are delivered at once and are not refundable.
Discounts, coupons and promotions
Coupon codes, the Promotions screen and inviting friends are explained in Promotions, coupons and inviting friends.
Discounts on a subscription wait on your account and come off by themselves at checkout. There is nothing to type, and the plan cards show the lower first payment ("first payment, then 19.99 € / month").
- Welcome offer: 10% off the first payment of a monthly subscription, for every confirmed account.
- Invited by a friend: 10% more if you subscribe within 30 days, so 20% off the first payment with the welcome offer.
- At a plan limit: the 10% off moving up a plan described above.
- From our team: a discount placed on your account.
- Discounts apply to monthly plans and the 7-day plan. Yearly plans are already two months free and take no discount; the offer keeps waiting for a monthly plan.
- One payment takes the single discount worth most, except the welcome and friend discounts, which add up.
Coupon codes give what the code holds: cards, Sparks, looks, badges, plan time or a discount.
- Open Desk → Account → Promotions, then "Redeem a coupon".
- Type the code and press "Redeem". If a warning appears, choose "Redeem anyway" or "Not now".
- Cards go to your Inventory. When the page says "Use by", use them before that date.
A code typed at sign-up ("Coupon code (optional)") is applied once you confirm your email. Each code works once per account.
Promotions in the Desk lists what is running now, the coupons you redeemed, "Invite friends, earn Sparks" and "Post about us, win a month of Pro": a post with #relay2trade and your account code, where the post with the most views wins a month of Pro and one more post, drawn at random, wins a month of Advanced. Your first Sparks package also costs 10% less.
When your plan ends
- The app stops placing trades and shows "You need an active subscription to sign in to MetaTrader 5 and Telegram". Adding listeners and running dry runs need a subscription too. Trades already open stay at your broker with their own stop-loss and take-profit.
- Your progress, season, Inventory, shop and Promotions stay open.
- Your settings, profiles and listeners are kept, and your invoices stay in your inbox. Subscribing again picks up where you left off.
- Your level, XP, Sparks, looks and badges stay yours.
- A VPS on your plan ends with it and is put away; what it holds is kept for 12 months.
Deleting your account (Account → Your details → "Delete account") is different: the account is closed for good, a running plan ends at once and nothing is given back for the days left.
If something goes wrong
- Signals are shown but not traded. The daily signal limit is reached. It starts again at 00:00 UTC; the status bar shows the count.
- The app says "Renewal payment failed — update your payment method on relay2trade.com". Access is paused until the payment goes through. Pay or change the card under Plan & billing → "Card & invoices".
- I moved up a plan and the app still shows the old limits. The app picks up the new licence within seconds. Restart the app to check it at once.
- I moved down and still have the higher limits. The change happens at the end of the paid period; Plan & billing shows the date.
- I have three profiles and only one trades. The plan counts profiles trading at the same time. Use "Switch trading", or raise the limit.
- I cancelled and still have access. That is expected: access runs to the end of the paid period and your free time.
- My demo day has not started. It starts when your app is first signed in, or when you start it from the Inventory.
- A free days card did not move my renewal. Without a subscription the days wait for your next plan. With one, Plan & billing shows the new renewal date.
- I see a 0.00 € entry on Stripe's page. It records free days moving your renewal date; nothing was charged.
- A coupon says "This coupon has been used up." All its places were taken. "You already redeemed this coupon." means it was used on this account.
- The checkout was cancelled. Nothing was charged; choose the plan again.
